Troy Hudson’s Album – “Undrafted”…

Troy Hudson of the Minnesota Timberwolves released an album entitled “Undrafted”.

Well, I will say it was undrafted, because it only sold 78 copies in the first week.

WTF!!!

78 copies in the first week?

This album may be the real reason why Garnett packed his locker up and went to Boston.

Let’s see if we can break that number down.

• 1 copy purchased by a family member, who later burns the rest of the family a copy.
• 1 copy purchased by NBA Security.
• 1 copy purchased by his girlfriend so that he doesn’t totally feel like shit.
• 1 copy purchased by his best friend.
• 32 copies purchased by one player of each NBA team. They’ll need something to laugh at while traveling on the plane before landing in Minnesota.

So that’s 36 of 78 copies.

We can figure the rest were purchased by fans and radio stations.

We’ve got platinum, gold, silver and now we have aluminum foil. Daaaaaaaaaamn!

Culpepper signs with the Raiders!

Well this came out of no where – Culpepper signs one year deal with the Raiders.

This is like a band aid on a amputated leg so to speak.

The Raiders have still not signed Jemarcus Russell, their first round draft pick of this year which in itself is pathetic. So they signed Culpepper to a one year deal as training camp started on Friday.

Hey Culpepper, the Moss-Culpepper tandem that boosted your career while you were in Minnesota is no longer an option. Moss got off that train a few months ago and is now in New England. Looks like your the conductor of that train wreck waiting to happen with the Raiders.

Why is Brady Quinn holding out?…

Someone please tell me why Brady Quinn is holding out? Wasn’t he the #22 pick overall by the Browns? WTF

Someone needs to tell this kid that he is no longer at Notre Dame, where the hype machine fueled his overated career.

He says he is working out on his own down in Tempe,AZ at API – a training facility for the pro-athletes.

I can understand the business side that he is approaching this with – but lets be realistic. If Brady thinks he is going to get 5th pick money or 10th pick money – he is out of his mind. Cleveland should get the better end of this deal simply because brady was still on the board.

Brady certainly won’t find any coddling as he got with with the Fighting Irish – so he best be getting used to it.

Vick’s co defendant changes plea to – GUILTY!…

Surprised, well you shouldn’t be.

He’s not the one the Feds were after, they want the big name and they may have gotten the big fish on a silver platter in Vick.

Tony Taylor is his name, fighting dogs was his game. A little freestyle there.

As this guy had been out the dog fighting game for a while now, he apparently wasn’t close to Vick and the others. I’m actually thinking this guy had already moved on with his life or even something else that wasn’t productive to Society.so when his life was interrupted and an opportunity presented itself – of course he did what someone who doesn’t want to go to Jail would d – cop a plea.

What does this spell for Vick and Company? Whatever it is, it can’t be good.

Vick, you should have cut strings with those fools when you had a chance.

KG to the Celtics…

Now what does this mean?

It means they went from being contenders to being the favorites – provided this deal can be pulled off.

The Celtics have been toe to the line the last few season, they just didn’t have enough fire power to put them over the line.

With the addition of Ray Allen at shooting guard due to draft day moves, the steady versatility of Paul Pierce and now the addition of Kevin Garnett from the Minnesota Timberwolves – they are immediately back in the hunt.

Doc Rivers has to be feeling some redemption after losing out on both Greg Odin and Kevin Durant in the draft do the craziness of the lottery.

The Celtics had to do something positive this off season after that draft dibacle – they were fined leading up to the draft and then didn’t get what they wanted. So it was imperative that they worked this deal out with Garnett.

Good for them as their persistence paid off.

Sad day for the NFL, great coach lost…

We mourn the lost of a great NFL Head Coach in Bill Walsh.

Walsh lost his fight with Leukemia today at the age of 75.

Our best wishes go out to his family and friends!

Michael Strahan looking at retiring…

I will say, I am a fan of Michael Strahan, although I like nothing about the New York Giants.

Strahan didn’t report for Training Camp on Friday and his agent notified the Giants that his client is mulling over retirement.

Even if he does retire, fans of his including myself will still be able to enjoy him as a commentator as he destined for a career on the set in front of a camera. And I think he will do a damn good job, he’s witty and has a flair for the camera. He may have to invest in some Visalign, but he can afford it.

Then again, his wife jean did clean his clock in a divorce settlement whcih she was awarded $15M and $18K a month in child support. Damn!

That right there would make any man want to quit his day job.
